Ordering & Payment

How do I order the Umweltfreund? Add the product to your cart and make sure you have enough magnets. Enter your full address and choose a payment method. Your order will be processed as soon as payment is received.

Which payment methods can I use? We accept PayPal, credit cards (Visa/Mastercard), Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and others as shown at checkout.

Can I change or cancel my order? As long as it hasn't been shipped yet, please contact us as quickly as possible via the contact form. After that, changes are usually no longer possible.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does processing take? Processing takes between 1–4 days.

How long does delivery take?

  • Germany: approx. 2–7 business days

  • Europe: approx. 5–10 business days

  • Outside the EU: from approx. 10 business days

What are the shipping costs? For orders over €50, we ship free of charge within Germany. International shipping costs are displayed at checkout.

Exceptions: Hypes can lead to processing and delivery delays. During high demand, it may take up to 14 days – we ask for your understanding as we are a start-up.

Returns & Warranty

Can I return the Umweltfreund? Yes, within 14 days of receipt (unopened/unused). Please contact us via the contact form beforehand.

Who pays for return shipping? Generally the buyer, except in the case of faulty or damaged items.

Is there a warranty? Yes, we provide a 12-month warranty on material and manufacturing defects.

Product & Usage

How do I find the right stick? The stick should be at least hip-high and about as thick as your thumb. Remove any protruding branches to get a stable "staff." After use, you can leave the stick back in the forest. True to our motto: “Using nature to help nature!”

How does the Umweltfreund work?

  1. Unscrew the tip (with the protective dirt cap) from the cone.

  2. Screw the tip onto the other side (3–4 turns).

  3. Place the Umweltfreund onto the stick and twist.

  4. Remove the protective cap – ready to pick up litter!

Care & Durability

How do I clean the Umweltfreund? Rinse with lukewarm water and mild soap, then dry well. Do not put in the dishwasher or washing machine. Caution: Be careful not to injure yourself on the tip.

How long does it last? With normal use and proper care, it lasts for several years. Spare parts are available if needed.

Who is behind Umweltfreund.Earth? I – Arnaud – develop and ship the Umweltfreund personally. We operate eco-friendly and collaborate with the "Elbe-Werkstätten". Together with our community, the Eco-Friends, we make the world a better place.
